Last Spring I noticed several weekly payments coming out of my account from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I called them and asked what this was and they couldn't give me any information as I didn't have an account with them. I asked them " why then are you taking out money from my bank account? '' They suggested I call my bank. I called my XXXX XXXX and they started an investigation and issued me a new debit card as that was how the monies were being removed. They reimbursed me all the funds. Sometime in XXXX I started receiving phone calls from a company that said they were trying to collect on the debt. I relayed the same info to them as above. They told me that they were emailing me information. I asked what email they were using and it wasn't mine. Something like XXXX???? I then called XXXX County Sheriff Office and spoke with a Deputy who said that this was a common ploy and that I should just tell the people who called that it wasn't my debt and hang-up. He also suggested I keep a watch I my credit report. When I looked today, I found a negative report from Security Credit Services in the amount of {$1400.00}. I called XXXX and disputed the report. They suggested I file a claim with the FTC.gov which I am doing today. Can you please help?
