On the morning of XXXX XXXX, 2021 I received a text message from the XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, NJ saying that an order was ready for pickup. This was confusing since I did not place an order and do not live close to XXXX XXXX. I checked my XXXX account and saw that there was no order listed. However, when I checked my bank account there was a debit from XXXX for the amount of {$1400.00} posted on XXXX XXXX, 2021. Again, I did not place an order nor did I authorize anyone to use my name or debit card to place an order. My debit card was deactivated by the bank and a representative from XXXX informed me that a XXXX XXXX was picked up at the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX using my debit card number. I filed a police report, filed an incident report with identitytheft.org and placed a credit alert with the 3 major credit bureaus. I received a letter from Bank of America XXXX XXXX XXXX, 2021 denying my claim. They claimed the charge was authorized by me or by someone who has permission to use the card or account. This is patently false and fraudulent on the part of Bank of America.
