I contacted chase on XX/XX/15 after I tried to use my card to make a purchase and my card declined. When I called chase to check my balance or see if their system was down I was told my account was closed and to contact customer services. When I contacted customer service I was on the phone with them for 4 hours with no information given. I was first told that both my accounts were closed and it was a final decision and she couldnt explain so she would transfer me. After holding for over an hour a man came on the phone and told me my account is still open and active with no restrictions but my debit card is closed. I asked him why I wasnt given any notifications via email or text which is my preferred contact method nor was I mailed anything. He said he did not know any wasnt in charge of that and he also didnt know why my account was closed he then told me he would transfer to someone who could answer my questions. I was transferred to another lady who told me both my accounts were closed and it was a final decision and cant be reversed she also stated she didnt know why I wasnt notified and still havent been notified of this decision but my account will be closing in 10 days. She also said she didnt know why they had been giving me the run around because my account clearly says in red to contact online services. No one has yet to reach out to me notifying me my account will be closed and why that decision was made.
