On XX/XX/2021, I rented a car from XXXX. When I arrived at the car rental building at the XXXX XXXX Airport, the usual office where one would fill out the paperwork to rent the car was closed and there was a sign on the window directing me to go upstairs to the XXXX kiosk on the second floor. So thats where I went to get my car. I signed the contract for a XXXX XXXX. The rental agreement had an estimate of {$350.00} with a deposit on my Chase card for {$420.00}. I signed the tablet and went on my way. I returned the car on XX/XX/2021 and assumed all was well. On XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed that my card was charged XXXX. - four times the amount of the estimate. I called XXXX that day and was told they would look into it and call me back in two to three days. No call. I called again on XX/XX/XXXX and was told I rented an exotic car and that was the reason for the higher amount. A XXXX XXXX is not an exotic car. I then called Chase Member Services and they put a hold on {$1200.00} - the difference between {$1600.00} and the estimate at {$350.00}. They sent me a form to fill out and fax back to them which I did on XX/XX/2021. I also sent a copy through regular mail. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Chase and was told that the documents had arrived and that I would hear from them in 72 hours. I received a letter via the Chase website letting me know that this was being researched. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received another letter from Chase stating that my claim is denied. The letter was 24 pages long and contained the final billing from XXXX. I called Chase and was told that I needed to respond by letter to reopen the investigation. On XX/XX/XXXX, I emailed and faxed a letter to XXXX and Chase Card Services. I am now awaiting a response.
