On XX/XX/2021 I went on the mobile app for CitiBank. I needed to increase my credit limit by {$5000.00} at least. I clicked on " increase my credit limit '' and went through the process. The app never asked me how big an increase I wanted nor informed me how large the increase would be. It provided a {$3000.00} increase. I need at least a {$4000.00} increase. When I called in to change the increase amount I was told that because I already asked for a credit increase I need to wait 6 months to ask for another, essentially stonewalling me. I asked for a supervisor and his line was really bad and I couldn't tell what he was saying. I got as far as getting the same explanation. I said I wanted to cancel that morning 's request and put in a new request for a higher increase. He said he couldn't do that. I asked to escalate and I couldn't understand his response. I asked him if he could contact me by email and he said no. He said a few more things that I couldn't understand. At that point I gave up since he was not able to communicate. I do not trust Citibank to handle this issue with good faith.
