I made XXXX purchases on XX/XX/21 at Lowe 's store while in Ohio from Florida. I went online to pay bills on XX/XX/21 and to my disbelief I was shown 4 days late on my payment. I called Lowe 's ( Synchrony Bank ) and talked with a rep who said their billing cycle is on the 7th of the month and therefore I was late. However, after discussion, the rep told me she would deduct the late payment and finally told me they would not report the payment as late to the credit bureaus. Even with that, I thought I should have 30 days from the date of purchase before a payment is due. According to their standards, if I make a XXXX purchase on the XXXX a payment becomes due the following day. I have many credit cards and several through Synchrony and have never been late on any payment in over 15 years.
