I received my XXXX stimulus payment in XX/XX/2021. I dont carry that card daily. It was an old payroll card from a previous job, but it is the card I was using the last time I giled taxes, so I kept the account open to not complicate the government and IRS not being able to have a correct direct deppsit method. My Netspend skylight one card was in my jewelry box in my bedroom, although the card info was saved on my XXXX XXXX. Someone must have stolen the card from my jewelry box without me knowing. I intended on saving this money for worse times, so imagine my surprise when i realized it was gone. I made online purchases using my XXXX XXXX, but the charges made in store with physical card I did not. On XX/XX/2021 when I rralized my card was missing and these fradulant charges were there i immediately contacted skylight one and filed a dispute immediately. I called first. I was told to write a letter and documenting each transaction, an explanation of what happened, updated contact info, and claim number to an email address for documents concerning the dispute. So i did. I receive a confirmation email from the company ssying they had until XX/XX/XXXX to investigate the aim and i eouldnt know anything until then. I called on XX/XX/2021 at XXXX XXXX to be told they fiund " no error '' in my dispute. After asking for an explanation, i was rold an email with documents wpuld be emailed to me immediately. I never received it. The following morning. I called the customer service number again and spoke with car XXXX. He explained that it would take ten days to get to email to me.i then emailed again this time crommy secure i box on their app... i have asked more than theee times to have their conclusion and reasoning along with any other documentation on how they came to the conclusion to deny my claim. I still haven't heard anything. The claim number is Claim # XXXX. Company name is netspend skylight one.
