I rented a car in XXXX through XXXX. When I arrived it was not the car I rented. The man at the counter took my card literally from my hand and charged me anyway. I complained obviously, and he laughed and said he would charge me even more when I returned it. This location has over 400 reviews and their rating is 1.2 stars. They are known scammers, read the reviews of XXXX at XXXX XXXX. The charge fell off after 7 days. I returned the car, but not before blocking my XXXX card and telling XXXX through messages and calls to allow no charges. I returned the car and XXXX attempted a charge but it was denied ( rightfully so, I blocked all charges ). I called XXXX and made them aware and did that with 2 supervisors. I cancelled the card and issued a new one. At no point did I release the block on my account. I have no reason to - the new card is in the US and I was in XXXX. XXXX then allowed a charge from the merchant to go through, this time three times the amount. My account was blocked and frozen and no charges should have gone through. I confirmed on XX/XX/XXXX when I called and two different supervisors said there was " no way they could charge you with a new number and a frozen account. '' Lo and behold, a {$1200.00} charge shows up. The XXXX Fraud Supervisor XXXX ( see screenshots attached ) who I talked to on XX/XX/XXXX refused to give me the timestamp of the large charge XXXX allowed to go through on a frozen account after I told them a merchant would attempt fraud. They will not mark it as fraud and only said they would dispute it. However the issue is with XXXX allowing the charge in the first place. I am not disputing it because it is fraud, of which XXXX is explicitly complicit. This is simply a record of my attempt to have XXXX graciously fix their issue in allowing the charge before I file with the courts which I promise to do, as I have been stolen from, XXXX knew it, and allowed and and facilitated it.
