This is XXXX XXXX, who is submitting this CFPB complaint myself and to inform you that there is no third party involved in the process. Despite the multiple previous written requests, the unverified account listed below still remains on my credit report in violation of Federal Law. The XXXX Credit Bureau has failed to comply with Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 USC sections 1681i within the time set forth by law and continued reporting of unverified information which now, given all my attempts to address it directly with the creditor, as willful negligence and non-compliance with federal statutes. These statuses are damaging to my report, which would not be happening if the bureaus are investigated properly before posting derogatory information.
