I issued a bank of America check number XXXX of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX dollars XXXX cent ( {$1600.00} ) with date XX/XX/21 to XXXX XXXX for my XXXX mortgage payment knowing fully well that my salary enters the account unfailingly by XX/XX/21. To my greatest surprise Bank of America charged my account returned item fee of {$35.00} on XX/XX/21 for a check dated XX/XX/21. On XX/XX/21 deposit of {$2500.00} was made into my account and the {$1600.00} was payed to XXXX XXXX, i called Bank of America customer care twice and all efforts made to make them refund my {$35.00} were abortive hence this complain. To the best of my knowledge a check is not surpose to be honored before the date on it. XXXX XXXX should charge me late fee if the check if dishonored for lack of fund. kindly use your good office to fix it
