Subject : excessive interest charges against Care Credit Card without notifictaion of the amount of the charge and overlimit the account without deducting the new balance from avilable credit in amount of {$190.00} leaving the available credit XXXX, The payment were paid on time. Thank you for reviewing my complaint and I appreciate your time and efforts. I put a charge on my care credit card for a XXXX for a family member in the amount of {$1000.00} in early of XXXX as the insurance would not approve the XXXX Care credit were charging me a monthly payment of {$37.00} and later {$29.00} every month. The balance of last statement of XX/XX/XXXX was & XXXX and available credit was {$160.00} and after I made the payment of {$29.00} I have available credit {$190.00}. In XXXX I made the monthly payement and then I got the monthly statement with the amount of {$1100.00} and I was shocked because even when I paind the monthly payment I credited XXXX with an interest charge {$350.00} and I realized that the new balance is the sum of old balance XXXX and {$350.00} but I expect that they would deduct the new balance from my availble credit {$190.00} which make my balnce below the limit ( XXXX ) and I would have enough credit. I contacted care credit about the issue but they were ignoring my question about my available credit ( {$190.00} ) and how it is not included in the statement. The manger were blunt that no changes will be considered toward my credits that I earned over 22 months. I need to resolve the issue with care credit because it is not fair practice to take care credit away especially for those who really need it without informing the customer about these charges upfront so I can be prepared for the issue.Thank you.
