My old card was lost so I requested a new card. However when I received the new card I couldnt activate it because the bank put a block in my card/account. I called them multiple times to remove the block so that I can activate my card but why just wont do it. I have been using the card to receive my unemployment benefits payment for a little over 6 months now and its always a problem using the card. Every time I tried to make a purchase ( it could be something as insignificant as buy gas ) they would block it and I would have to call and be asked a whole lot of questions to make sure Im me. Of course every time I would answer all the questions correctly and they would remove the block. However, this time, they refused to remove the block and they also refused to ask me the identity question. I asked them to close my account and send me the remaining of balance via check, they refused to do as well.
