Spoke to XXXX this morning and he did state that he did not want to debate with me on the issue. Called back and got another representative who has submitted a dispute and I uploaded my concern to the portal as well. Reached out to HUD and they stated the lender is responsible to retain the correct and adequate information and that CFPB would oversee any issues. Below is my concern. To whom it may concern~ I contacted Rushmore today in regards to two items. As it relates to the first item, the customer service representative has requested an investigation and I am following up in writing to also recap the issue. 1. Loan # XXXX was closed on XX/XX/XXXX and funded on XX/XX/XXXX. Your system reflected as closed and payment received on XX/XX/XXXX in your system. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX XXXX, XXXX there were payments made reflected as a line item for FHA MIP monthly premium payments in the amount of {$220.00}. The new loan in which you were servicing loan # XXXX, since this was a FHA streamline refinance, had the first payment due XXXX, XXXX. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX there is a line item that also reflects a FHA MIP monthly premium payment in the amount of {$220.00}. I would like for this to be addressed and the fund issued out immediately to me. I contacted HUD resource in regards to this matter and they stated as a lender you are to maintain the adequate records as it relates to these payments. 2. Loan number XXXX was paid in full XX/XX/XXXX, reflecting an escrow balance of {$270.00}. Please ensure that funds are returned to me or documentation as to what these funds were applied to.
