Rocket Mortgage ordered an appraisal for my refi application. The appraiser was shady in reaching out to me to schedule an appraisal, changing the appointment multiple times and sending me confirmation texts back to back for odd times. I never spoke with the appraiser or company owner, just the administrative assistant. Rocket never answered my complaints about the appraiser. When the appraiser did finally do the job, the estimate came in MUCH lower than a prior independent appraisal done two weeks before. Rocket Mortgage would not proceed with my refinance, would not hear my complaint, and would not consider ordering another appraisal. I am directing my complaint to Rocket Mortgage and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.
