I applied for credit with XXXX on XX/XX/2021, through their financial institution, Synchrony Bank. Well, I have a fraud alert on all three bureaus and this was completely ignored by this creditor. The inquiry went right though without any hesitation. Nor did I receive a call to verify that the person applying for credit was indeed me. As a potential victim of identity theft I find this quite disturbing. Upon trying the reach out to them the only number I was a customer service number and nobody could point me in the right direction.
