On XX/XX/XXXX I opened a business account with Chase Bank located on XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, SC XXXX after receiving an email offering me {$300.00} if I opened a business account and kept at least {$2000.00} deposited for 60 days, and made at least 5 transactions using my debit card. After not receiving my debit card 7 days later I returned to the bank to make an inquiry as to why, and the bank representative checked my address to make sure that it was entered correctly and it was. At the same time I had entered the wrong passwordon its online banking and had been blocked out. The representative tried to reach a representative on the phone, but it was over a 15-minute wait, so I told him that I would call myself to correct that, thinking that might be the problem. I could not get an agent to answer the phone without being on hold for longer periods that I could remain on hold until several days later. When I was finally able to reach someone at XXXX I was asked what " kind '' of business did I have since I listed several options including : consulting, editing, and publishing. The representative stated that it would be better to list it just as publishing. I told her okay and expected that all was clear and that I would receive my debit card within the next 7 days. I did not. What I did receive was a letter stating that there was a problem with my account and also a text stating that if I didn't return their call by XX/XX/XXXX that my business account would be closed. I left on a 7-day vacation to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and was not scheduled to return until XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, so I texted them my inteniary to show that I was out of the country and informed them that I would return their call the next day. After not being able to get anyone on the phone the next day, I went back to the bank and spoke with the agent again. He called in the branch manager and she was able to contact them and got my online banking finally restored and I was informed that the original card that was shipped out, that I never received, was cancelled, and that he ordered another card to be shipped out expeditiously and that I would receive it no later XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX. Today is XX/XX/XXXX and I do not have time while running my business to continue to keep calling or going to the bank, when apparently they have not been of help. Honestly, I'm beginning to feel like this was some sort of hoax to get business owners to add cash assets to their banking institution. One of my sisters had a similar issue with another bank, and she told me she had to contact you for help, and suggested that I do the same. I hope that you can help me. If I doo n't make 5 transactions by I believe XX/XX/XXXX by using their bank debit card I will not receive the {$300.00} promised to me. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX XXXX
