An erroneous electric payment in the amount of {$3600.00} was made in XXXX to my Citi Master Card from my XXXX bank account. I did not authorize this payment and notified the credit card company of the error. I explained that this error had created a dire situation for me by causing my bank account to be overdrawn and incur overdraft fees and that I was also unable to withdraw any cash. On XXXX XXXX, I was assured via a telephone conversation with a Citi representative that the funds would be returned to my bank account on an expedited basis. To date, those funds have not been returned and Citi is unable to advise me of a date on which the funds will be returned. I was advised that it was not possible for me to speak with anyone who had the authority to actually expedite this matter or even advise me as to when the funds would be returned to my account. To be clear, Citi was never entitled to this money and has no right to hold my funds for weeks on some pretense of performing some sort of investigation. Thank you for your attention. XXXX XXXX XXXX
