My daughter has a XXXX checking account that was to be converted to a stand alone account. Chase never separated the accounts and someone gained access to her account through my account. I was a victim of a scam but had no money for them to take. Had chase separated the accounts like we requested they would not have had access to her account. The scammers not only got away with one transaction over her spending limit but two. Per XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX around XXXX XXXX she said this is not chases problem. The withdrawals happened XXXX. I called chase within 5 minutes of the problem. I also would like to tell you about XXXX since I was trying to call them when scammed. I called them to advise them of what happened and they informed me that they know about the scam but it is not there problem as well. I question, why is it ok for a company to be aware of a scam attached to there name and not take steps to protect there customers?
