I setup AutoPay for my Bank of America VISA credit card in XXXX and called Bank of America to verify it was setup correctly. I was assured by customer service agent that AutoPay was setup and my payment would be debited from my bank account on the due date XX/XX/XXXX. However, I noticed on XX/XX/XXXX, there was no payment made to my credit card account. I called Bank of America customer service who informed me that the AutoPay will take few statement cycles to setup and took my payment on the phone and was assured there would be no late fees. XXXX refused to waive the {$25.00} fee. It is unfair to charge me {$25.00} late fee, when I signed up for AutoPay in XXXX and failure on the part of Bank of America to withdraw the payment on the due date XX/XX/XXXX. Despite my best efforts to validate the AutoPay setup, I am being unfairly charged a late fee after being a customer who has paid on time since XXXX.
