I have never opened a checking account with JP Morgan Chase Bank. I recently received statements that I have owed {$34.00} ( XX/XX/2021 ) and {$46.00} ( XX/XX/2021 ) on the account. My wife and I did have our mortgage purchased by Chase years ago, but we never authorized an account being opened. In researching online, Chase has many other consumer complaints about opening accounts without user knowledge. I have contacted Chase Bank via ( XXXX ) and ( XXXX ) and am unable to actually talk to a person. In the phone tree it asks for a bank account number, which was on the statement, and PIN, which I don't have. In looking online, there seems to be no way to actually get around this setup. I tried 5 times this afternoon without success. I also tried the service XXXX to see if there would be a response. The service was unable to help.
