This morning XX/XX/XXXX I received a notification from XXXX XXXX that a new hard inquiry was placed on my credit report by FIRSTBANK. I have not been in a firstbank branch in over 2 months and have not had contact with anyone from the company since. I called the customer service line and they stated " I opted into the cash reserve via online banking, which requires an e-signature and authorization '' I have photographic, audio, and video evidence showcasing that I never accepted these terms and was never notified, which clearly showcases internal fraud. After explaining this to the customer service manager ( XXXX employee id XXXX ) he stated that there was nothing they could do, and that the branch that was commuting the fraud was the only point of contact I could reach out to to resolve this issue. A clear violation of the FDIC Regulations. On top of this, we are in the middle of closing on a house, and if this credit inquiry causes us to lose the home, we could end up homeless as we do not have secured housing that will run after the closing date.
