Consumer Narrative

I have worked hard to establish a credit score and history since moving back to the XXXX from XXXX last year. Initially, I was rejected a few times and then I learned that it's because I had to start from scratch so I did that by using a secured credit card to a point where my credit card usage was healthy and my score strong enough that the card eventually turned into an unsecured card. Shortly after that, I applied for a Chase credit card and thankfully I was approved. And in fact, recently I applied for my wife to be added as an authorized user and that was approved and my wife started using the card a few days ago. I've been using it responsibly, in fact more than responsibly as whatever I spend, I've been paying it off the moment it shows up on my account and hence have maintained a credit usage of 0 % since receiving this card in XXXX. Yet, I got a strange message earlier today that my Chase Freedom credit card was removed from XXXX Wallet without warning and then when I checked my Chase app, it said that my credit card was closed. I then called the Chase credit card customer service and when I spoke with the agent, the explanation that I was told was that my credit history was not long enough and that there were too many recent inquiries. On the latter, I guess technically there have been a recent inquiry as I recently applied for the Amazon Prime Visa Signature card but that wasn't because I was needing credit. It was simply to take advantage of the 5 % cash back. However, other than that and the XXXX Card for which I was approved, I have not had any inquiries since last XXXX when I had applied for a lease for my car. Credit history also doesn't add up because I have a credit history with a good score that I'm continuously building. And I have made sure that I carry a {$0.00} balance on all my credit cards. In fact, I even sometimes pay more than my monthly lease so that I can pay down my car lease quicker. Especially with my Chase credit card, I have paid my balance the moment it comes up and so I have had a {$0.00} balance pretty much every single day. In other words, I've been a super responsible user and yet to without warning, be told that my credit card has been closed for reasons that make no sense is unbelievable. I have a high, steady income and if you consider my savings account and my investment account, all with Chase, plus the fact that I pay off my balance pretty much daily, there is no logical reason why I'm deemed a risk in any respect and I can not accept as to why my credit card was closed.
