I started the refinancing process with JP Morgan Chase Bank in XXXX of XXXX. It started off as a normal refi but the loan officer would request documents and then wait until the beginning of a new month to reach out and would then request those same documents again. A new loan officer was brought in and I faced the same issue. My credit has been run multiple times and I have sent and resent the same documentation to not avail. It is XX/XX/XXXX and I still have not closed on the refi of my home. I was locked in at a 2.61 % interest rate with a commitment letter but the company allowed that to expire as well. Now I am being told that I need to bring {$7000.00} to closing and I am not locked into the low interest rate anymore as the interest rates are now rising. All this with the company that already holds the loan to my home. I have had this loan with JP Morgan Chase Bank since XXXX and even with that I am still struggling to refinance. I am not taking any cash out of my house with this refi, simply looking for a lower interest rate.
