In XXXX I received a bill from Bank of America for {$20000.00} on my card which has a {$10000.00} credit limit. The card is an XXXX XXXX card that i have only used for purchases with XXXX, {$50.00} to {$300.00} at at time and paid balance when due. I contacted them and they credited the account and started a fraud claim. I also contacted XXXX and found that there were multiple charges for flights and hotels and rental cars thru XXXX charged for this with multiple random people almost all flying from XXXX, I fly out of XXXX always. After 2 months Bank of America denied the fraud claim and put the charges back on my account. They stated that the charges were consistent my previous charges with no explanation of how it could double my credit limit. They are re-opening the claim but leaving the charges on the card which has drastically lowered my credit score and if I don't make payments on it will further ruin my credit. I can not do anything but wait another 60 days to find out if they are going to continue to deny these charges!
