On XX/XX/2021 Bank of America Closed my checking and savings account, along with my children 's minor accounts with no explanation, I called to inquire about the closure and they stated it was an " executive decision, they refunded my children their funds in the form of a check a couple of months later. I had balance on my account of but I never received a refund, only them reporting I " owed '' a " unpaid '' balance of XXXX which I did not find out until much later, this caused such a inconvience as I had my main monthly income directly deposited into said account. months later I went on to open an account with XXXX XXXX with no issues, along with my children I had no idea what was being reported on XXXX, until I was in the market for a vehicle. I was approved for a XXXX auto loan through a Credit Union but was not able to move foward with the loan process, because I was made aware of what was being reporting on XXXX by Bank of America, They reported " My account was close due to " fraud ''. I was livid! knowing full in well I commited no fraud, I went into a Bank of America Branch to speak with a Branch manager, as I called BOA fraud department on my phone. I was on the phone for a total of 4 hours with still no explanation of what fraud was commited and why they had that listed on " XXXX '' ( the consumer reporting agency that All bank use to screen applicants that want to opening any type of Checking or Savings accounts ) or how it could be resolved, the Branch manager was helpful but could'nt tell me anything more than what the rep on the phone was saying I disputed this with XXXX to only receieved a letter stating " There was no actual fraud done '' and that the information ( account ) would remain on XXXX. They even admited in the response that they did not make me aware of what they reported without to the agency without my permission, This is hindering me as buisness and trying to establish financial security for my children. this has been a complete nightmare. I can not open any other bank account at this moment because of this information that is being reported in XXXX by Bank of America
