Consumer Narrative

I asked XXXX Mohela to defer my student loan payments for three months as a hardship in repaying my loans. Note my monthly payments are {$1300.00} per month. My husband is not working and has XXXX and we are now in the mist of mounting medical debt. I asked XXXX to defer just so that I can his doctors the {$6000.00} owed. Instead XXXX said no and raised my fix rate from 5.99 % to 6.79 %. I think this is unethical and outrageous. The FED gov is forgiving tens of thousand in student loan debt, you would like these private companies would do something similar or work with the consumer. Please investigate and I am hoping there is something that can be done. Thank you.
