On XX/XX/2021, XXXX XXXX, a mortgage lending credit and Verification service, was working with me and XXXX XXXX to verify that I am not disputing the debt with Portfolio Recovery. We are trying to verify and remove comments of disputes in order to finish for clear to close on my VA loan for a new home. Portfolio was very aggressive when we talked to them to the put that they did not want to verify that I was not disputing in their system unless I pay, they eventually said I was not disputing after talking to a supervisor then back to the agent. Comments were removed by XXXX XXXX and XXXX. Recently starting XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX, we have found Portfolio Recovery adding comments that I am In dispute Account Information disputed by consumer ( FCRA ) when they know from me and XXXX XXXX that I am not disputing the debt and lying on my report that I am. This is holding up my ability to complete my mortgage and clear to close on the house. I now have to contact XXXX again to remove the comment and I have already told XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I believe they are not following the FCRA and are in violation putting incorrect information onto my credit report. This has loss of cause time, stress, money, and my credit score for trying to complete the home purchase.
