Consumer Narrative

On XX/XX/21 went to XXXX in XXXX XXXX and did 2 withdrawals with my Bank of America debit card, at an atm machine. The transactions were for the amount of {$120.00} and {$200.00}. The money never dispensed and I was defrauded. Later on the XX/XX/21 I called Bank of America to let them know. The first call I spoke with someone. Outlined the issue. And they disconnected my call, so I was unable to fill a claim, or a complaint about Bank of Americas service. I had to call a second time to Bank of America, and during that call I was informed they could not stop the transactions, because it was outside of their policy. During the second call. I informed Bank of America I was on vacation and needed the funds. They again stated it was outside their policy, even after telling them customer service agent, named XXXX, that the XXXX ATM machine defrauded me. I need help, as I think Bank Of Americas claims and fraud policy is not treated customers fairly, since my account does not have a lot of money in it. Seems they treat lower income people poorly, and those that are a minority, such as myself. Very upset as they really caused me problems on my vacation, even though I was timely in notifying the bank. There should be some policy that accounts for this type of situation, and in which everyone front different income levels are treating the same.
