I was lost my job due to the pandemic I called Citibank immediately letting them know I lost my job but got another job. Due to the gap in pay periods before the break job started I notified Citi I needed my payment date to be extended. The representative assured me that there would no penalty and allowed me To skip a payment. I made a payment by scheduling it with her. When the date came for the automatic payment I noticed it wasnt showing on my citi app but there was a banner that asked if I had difficulty paying to lol at payment options. I clicked the banner and scheduled the oayment Im a week. I now have a job Im able to pay my balances off. I work for the XXXX XXXX and I have a security clearance I can lose my security clearance over negative credit reports. I have never been late before and citi lied and misrepresented themselves. They have also lowered my credit limit even though i have made large payments to other credit cards to lower my utilization. With the reported late payment and lowered credit limit my score lowered by 70 points and its not fair. I can lose my clearance
