This vehicle was traded in for a new XXXX XXXX, also leased at XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX on or about XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX requested the end of lease payoff amount to Southeast Toyota Finance and then send them a check for the amount requested, and the checks were cleared by Southeast Toyota Finance ( SETF ). On XX/XX/XXXX, I was contacted by SETF to inquire where was the vehicle, I explained that the vehicle was traded in last year, therefore I didn't had the vehicle on my possession, or had any knowledge of the vehicle whereabouts since it should have been turned in back to them by XXXX. I recently received a letter from SETF showing a charge of {$1700.00} for miscellaneous, which after calling them I couldn't obtain the detail of such charges ; I tried to resolve this in several instances and they ended reporting as a negative remark on my credit. On the XXXX side, I have an approach to Mr. XXXX XXXX, part of the management team at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, who provided me copy of the agreement, and cancelled check, however he couldn't provide information when the car was actually returned to SETF, and why it wasn't turned in in a timely manner. to establish responsability. SETF did not posted the payment timely either, A XXXX report sent by Mr. XXXX it shows that the car was sold by SETF on XX/XX/XXXX, with a mileage of about XXXX miles ; when I turned the car at XXXX XXXX it only had about XXXX miles, this clearly demonstrate that the car was in use for all this time, without my knowledge. I have contacted XXXX to initiate a dispute requesting them to change the damaging information on my credit, very damaging now that I am in the process of buying a new home, however it still in process.
