I took advantage of the zero apr on purchases on my city premier credit card. Ive always paid way above the minimum payment. Generally I would pay around {$1000.00} a month. I was charged a {$95.00} annual fee and was charged interest on that fee Even though I paid off XXXX se nd a minimum payment plus the annual fee. My next issue is that when my end of term for the 0 % APR offer arrived, I call Citibank and spoke to a representative and she gave me the exact amount that I need to pay to prevent being charged any interest. I paid that amount which was my current balance. Now I see that there is an interest charge on my account. I normally never take advantage of credit card offers as Im scared of them taking advantage of a consumer. Now I see that is indeed true. Its unethical and plain wrong to have these hidden terms and fees being charged to a consumer that did his due diligence to prevent fees.
