Attempted purchase of a freezer through Sears on XX/XX/XXXX. Item was not delivered as promised. After multiple missed delivery dates by Sears in which they continued to reschedule new, later dates, we finally cancelled the sale in XX/XX/XXXX, nearly 6 months later because of the non-performance on their part. We were promised a refund within 3 days by the customer service representative, which did not happen. After allowing 5 billing statements without a refund, we sent a letter requesting the refund. The letter was sent XX/XX/XXXX and we have received no response from Sears. Enclosed are the statements and the letter. As you will note, the amount that should be refunded is : {$1300.00} per Sears, although the amount charged was {$1300.00}. Sears states that they are keeping a dollar for undisclosed reasons, which we take issue with, since they have had our funds, interest free, for nearly a year. Please note that the refund should be sent to our new address : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, IN XXXX.
