This is my Third complaint : please reference XXXX & XXXX. Chase closed my checking account because of failure to validate the validity of 2 out of 3 checks Deposited. I was told by Chase support that the Issuer of the checks needs to place a stop payment. I am being told by XXXX XXXX & XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that they can not place a stop payment on a check for which the funds have been transferred. The checks cleared the issuing bank so i am being told its out of there hands. This nightmare started in XXXX. I have not been able to get any help from chase. I wait for 20/30 mins every time i call the support number only to be told the same Information. I walked into a chase branch and was told by the branch manager that this is a common occurrence and I should save my self the time and aggravation and consider it a loss and move On. I am suffering considerably as this Drags on. I was late with my rent for XXXX, I used my XXXX checks to catch up with my rent. Tomorrow is XXXX and i dont have my rent money at all. I will be fined XXXX dollars for everyday it is late after the first 5 days. I may not be able to pay my rent until the third week of XXXX which means i will have to pay an extra XXXX dollars. I have put XXXX XXXX i had planned on hold because now that i lost what inessentially totals 3 weeks of my labor things are just going down hill. I am being charged late fee, My credit score is going to be effected. i have not made my child support payments, If i am more then 90 days in the rears they may suspend my drivers license if that happens i will lose my Job. I dont know what else to do or to say. I desperately need assistant in having my money returned to me. Chase is ruining my Life and the worse part is Chase does this with impunity to Thousands of middle class and poor people. There are stories online about chase doing the same thing. The branch manager i spoke to admitted he has people come in on a regular basis and all he can do is refer them to the same support number that does not help at all. Please i know XXXX dollars is not a large sum of money but i need it so terribly bad. I didnt realize how quickly things spiral out of control. I have heard stories of 1 emergency destroying a persons life because of a small debt. Now im living it and i cant find anyone to help me.
