I have had fraud on my edd account in the amount of {$23000.00} I first applied for our and nothing happened and it was too much a hassle so I went out and gained legit employment at XXXX XXXX Covid pandemic caused hours to be cut at XXXX and I was let go. At that time I immediately applied to get my unemployment benefits. That is when I found out that bank of America sent a debit card in my name to XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX # XXXX XXXX CA XXXX. I have never known this address nor is it associated with me. So while I was certifying every 2 weeks the people who live at this address were busy spending my edd benefits. B of A has had my money froze since XX/XX/XXXX when the closed the account. I found out about all this in XX/XX/XXXX. Thats is my money and now bank of America c a is telling me that I am responsible for this money. They gave provisional credit to me and debited it back out within one hour. This is crazy and is now causing unbelievable hardships. I've had a XXXX XXXX and be hospitalized 3 times as a direct result from the stress of all of this. I need to get my rightfully due benefits immediately. I no longer have my benefits sent to a incompetent and of America I get paper checks directly. Give my money back bank of America. Now
