On XX/XX/XXXX someone impersonating Bank of America called me regarding fraudulent activity on my account and had me transfer over {$2000.00} via XXXX to protect my remaining funds. Person stated funds would be returned to my account the following day. Funds have not been returned. Contacted Bank of America fraud department and they opened a claim. Claim number is XXXX Because this was a scam and not technically fraud, I may not even receive my money back.
