On XX/XX/XXXX, a payment of {$20.00} came through for a credit card I have to my Bank of America checking account. Instead of just paying the measly {$20.00}, they returned the funds and charged me an NSF charge. I'm not arguing about the fee, but not paying a small cost of {$20.00} when a large direct deposit is imminent ( deposit on XX/XX/XXXX that they can see the day before ) is asinine and petty, especially in these trying times. The same thing happened again on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. Absolutely ridiculous. If I miss a day and they know the deposit is coming, by all means charge a fee, but don't return the transaction - just pay it.
