I initially sent a series of letters to the Credit Reporting Agencies as well as the Actual Creditor. I am fully aware of how reporting works and found proof of non-compliance in accordance to the E-Oscar and Metro 2 format formateignoring to report. Dsnb Macys Account ID : XXXX The account is incomplete. The complete and itemized listing of the dates for these accounts was never provided. I am having trouble getting them from the original creditor. Inaccurate Information. Section 623 ( a ) prohibits furnishers from reporting information to a CRA if the furnisher knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. Duty to Correct and Update Information. A furnisher that regularly furnishes information to CRAs is also required to notify a CRA if it has determined that previously furnished information is not complete or accurate and to correct that information.
