I bought an airplane ticket for a friend of mine with my Chase credit card in XX/XX/XXXX. The flight was cancelled due to the pandemic. In XX/XX/XXXX I cancelled that credit card account. According to XXXX XXXX the ticket was refunded to Chase one year later on XX/XX/XXXX. I contacted the Chase Credit card and they said because my credit card account was cancelled they returned the money to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX.However, XXXX XXXX said they never received the the money back. Here are my questions : 1. Why did Chase not issue a refund check on my name? Or, why they did not apply the refund to one of my another credit cards I have with them? 2. Where is my money? According to the latest email received from XXXX XXXX the refund never got back from Chase credit Cards to them.
