On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX posted an unauthorized transaction to our Chase United Airline ( co-branded ) Visa card. XXXX XXXX XXXX had no authority to charge the account. The last authorized charge was in XX/XX/XXXX ( two years ago ) for {$29.00} ending a month to month contract for my son, XXXX, who is not an authorized user. I disputed the charge and it was resolved in my favor. On XXXX XXXX XXXX again charged the Visa card. There was no explanation, just a charge. I disputed the charge telling Chase XXXX XXXX XXXX has no authority to charge our account. I told them that the only way that they could have the credit card number is if someone went into our XXXX file and stole our account number. In this case, with no explanation, Chase simply told us we must pay the charge. I note that we have received a new physical card since XXXX and it is impossible for XXXX XXXX XXXX to have the CVV number. I demanded from Chase that they show the contract XXXX XXXX XXXX claims we have, and the credit card number with signature and CVV. Chase refused. I told Chase that when we contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX the local manager said that they have no record of any active account charges attributable to any authorized user and can offer no explanation as to why this appears on my bill. Chase has been entirely uncooperative in resolving this dispute and refuses to provide any information as to why the merchant believes this is an authorized charge. THIS VIOLATES OUR CREDIT CARD AGREEMENT RELATING TO PLAINLY UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES FOR SERVICES THAT WERE NEVER ASKED FOR, SIGNED FOR, OR PROVIDED. Please help clear this charge.
