Someone reached out to me for the room I am renting. She sent me a cashier check worth {$4800.00}. However, when I received the check she sent me, I have rented the place to someone else. After I told her what happened, she asked me to deposit the check and XXXX the amount to her new landlord. I deposited the check at BOA mobile app and got the money on the next day. So I XXXX the money. A couple days later, The cashier check bounced back as it's a fake check.
