On XX/XX/2021 I went in to a chase bank and opened an account, Everything was fine, I waited a week for my card to arrive in the mail and on XXXX XXXX I deposited my first check which was given to me by my employer. Chase decided to put my funds on hold and told me that it will not be available until XX/XX/2021. I called in multiple times to have my funds be made available but they told me that they needed verification from my employers bank so I spoke to my employer and he informed that the funds have already been withdrawn from his account however Chase told me that XXXX XXXX XXXX does not allow verification over the phone and that my funds will automatically be released on XX/XX/XXXX. I received a letter in the mail on XX/XX/2021 stating that chase has decided to close my bank accounts without any reason at all on XXXX XXXX so I called them and they told me that they can not provide me with a reason and that this is decision that was made after careful consideration and that I will not be able to open up a bank account with chase. they refuse to release my funds so that I can withdraw my money. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks to receive a check in the mail after my funds become available. This has been a nightmare! I have never in my life experienced anything like this. I ' am very disappointed on how they handled me as a customer this truly has been the worse experience I have ever had.
