Consumer Narrative
On XX/XX/XXXX I purchased a transact XXXX netspend prepaid debit card at XXXX. I loaded {$250.00} on card and paid the {$4.00} fee. I was unable to activate card. After speaking with a representative they said I would not be able to activate and would send me a check for {$250.00}. They refused to reimburse me the cost of card, even though I purchased it 10 minutes prior. I received the check but it is fir {$240.00}. They charged me to send a check after all this. It's only {$11.00} I'm out, but why should they keep funds when they declined to let me use card. Thank you any help.
