United Chase credit card dispute in the amount of {$1500.00} and another charge in the amount of {$370.00} both from a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have two videos I believe were fraudulently made and wanted to have them evaluated by a forensic video expert. I XXXX video forensic expert and XXXX only gave me one company called XXXX XXXX XXXX At the time of the XXXX search the company had no information about their company online. Since I filed a dispute the forensic experts now have a " huge '' website explaining what they can do for you. I called them on the phone.. they had " no website '' email to discuss my concerns.. now they have experts that will actually chat with you online.. I was told they would review the 2 short videos which were only about 8 minutes long for {$370.00}. The company had me sign a " lengthy '' contract. I paid by credit card. They told me over the phone that they were experts highly trained.. within a few days I got a simple email of only a few sentences saying that they found nothing regarding the videos.. I told them that was not what I was promised.. now on their website they promise they can let you know if a video is " false '' and how the video was made.. I asked them for a simple " letter '' on letter head explaining what they found.. they refused.. and then forced me to pay another {$1500.00}. I then got a " letter on letterhead for {$1500.00} '' which stated that I they needed information from me.. i.e. the source of the video which i did not know and they knew it.. a chain of custody.. which they knew I did not have.. all of the stuff referenced in their " letter '' they knew I did not have.. all they had to do was give me such a letter before they even took my first XXXX and then ripped me off for {$1500.00}. in their contract they state that they will be giving me a " billing '' statement as to how many hours they worked on the project this never happened.. so the contract I signed was not adhered to by XXXX XXXX I received " no billing '' statement as written in the contract.. my money was placed in a " trust '' account like an attorney.. by law after I requested a billing statement for the trust account it must be provided.. this did not take place.. additionally.. they never spent 5 hours looking at 8 minutes of video.. i contacted another company and based on XXXX XXXX 's website.. they put the video in a " forensic video '' machine which prints out a report. This was included in the {$370.00}. They failed to give me the report when I paid {$370.00} which I was entitled to.. Chase Credit Card.. never asked for a " billing statement '' and knew the contract I signed stated I needed a billing statement.. the money was put in a " trust account '' and I was entitled to have the money back when not used. their website also states the following : https : XXXX XXXX XXXX is onboard with some of the most advanced authentication techniques. Video evidence is ingested into a set of rigorous tests to determine the validity of the video evidence in question. Our video forensic expert utilizes a scientific approach to determine if a video recording has been altered or is authentic. Once the data from the digital evidence is analyzed our expert is able to determine. but yet they could not do that with my two short videos neither one.. so they lied and illegally took my money.. their website also doesn't state that they need to know the source of where the video originated or a chain of custody.. or hashing by a police department ... so all the stuff they required of me is not posted on their website..
