I recived a promotion offer from Citibank to open an account and fund it with a certin amount of funds and recive a cash bonus after 60 days i read the entire fine print and only was able to discern a 60 day requirement to recive the bounous, so i called and setup the account with a representative who also told me it was only 60 days no more and i specifically asked can i get the funds after 60 days and can i remove the funds without penalty i was told emphatically yes, i knew to ask this because i have completed one of these before with XXXX XXXX XXXX and they specifically said you have to leave the money there for 90 days. So after completing the 60 days i called citibank and now they are saying the offer says after you complete the 60 days you then have to complete 90 days from that point, which was never agreed upon when i setup the account, and it seems very deceptive why would they not just say you must complete 150 days in order to recive your funds, and why would the first advertised time frame be the shorter one of 60 days and then the second part of their " offer '' be 90 days so its double the advertised time plus 30 days this is extremely deceptive.
