I have a charge on my Citi Credit card from ( XXXX # XXXX XXXX XXXX ) in the amount of {$4800.00} on XX/XX/2021. I called Citi and they cancelled my card and issued new card. There were a total of 26 fraudulent charges on my account from XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX for a total of {$7900.00} I contacted Citi about the XXXX XXXX and they denied my claim because I had a valid charge from XXXX in the amount of {$240.00} on the same day. They said I needed to contact XXXX for the refund. XXXX told me that a person by the name of XXXX XXXX prepaid online for a rental to be picked up on XX/XX/2021 in XXXX XXXX, NC but never picked it up. They told me they would credit the amount to the credit card but never did. When I called back they told me to get a police report which I did. Now when I call XXXX back, they just hang up on me. I have contacted Citi twice again today. Both times got disconnected.
