I have been trying to pay off my auto loan quick so I send in payments towards the principle balance the JP Morgan Chase app consistently changes your principle payment to ordinary payment so I have to call and complain for them to reverse it. They told me call in and make the payment directly, so on XX/XX/XXXX I made another principle payment of XXXX dollars by debit card from one account and XXXX dollars from the same account I use regularly to pay. The XXXX dollar payment was never applied to my account I called today on XX/XX/XXXX the money was taken from my account from XXXX XXXX XXXX and it shows on my records, but Chase Bank said they never got it. Upon further review and consistent calls to Chase they stated they see the notes made by the agent who took my call they saw the notes for XXXX towards the principle payment but don't understand what happened. One agent told me to report it as fraud but said Chase would still investigate, another agent said that when my bank credits me that Chase closes its account. On my 3rd call a supervisor named XXXX informed that they believe my payment went to another account but refuse to credit me or refund me my money. The XXXX payment went to interest I complained about that they Saud they will reverse it but did not and refuse to. I have adequate proof of transactions and screen shots. JP Morgan Chase I believe is holding peoples funds to get as much interest as possible evening changing principle payments then delaying or not even reversing the charge. To tell a customer to call your bank and claim fraud and they will refund you is absolutely unprofessional and I'm curious to know how many people they have done this to and I believe this is illegal. I have called numerous times of which they say they are recorded, if you listen to the phone calls and check the notes you'll see how this company has handled my account and all the errors
