On XX/XX/2021 while on vacation in XXXX my credit card was stolen while at a restaurant. I was unaware that it was taken until I got home on XX/XX/XXXX after the limit was already spent. Ive explained to them that I had two cards with the same account number because chase had upgraded my slate card to freedom unlimited. I have sent them photos of my chase slate card to prove that I still have that one and thats what I used to try and make a purchase at a restaurant near my house. I have spend hours calling and being put on hold. Ive sent photos that supported my statements showing I wasnt in XXXX and couldnt have made purchases at XXXX and a jewelry store. I was in the process of applying for a loan to purchase a home while this has been going on and it significantly impacted my credit score. I have filed police reports and proceeded everything they have asked for. I have been told I would receive a phone call back the same day multiple times and I have not.
