I have a Chase XXXX card. I sent a XXXX payment to some family members overseas on XX/XX/2011. I have been charged cash advance interest fees for the past 3 months, despite the fact that I have automatic payments set up with Chase to pay my entire account balance every month ( as the option noted as " statement balance '' ). When I called Chase to complain about this, they said that the only way for me to avoid this would have been to make a manual payment in the entire amount of my balance. Chase provides no option for a consumer to automatically pay their entire credit card bill off every month such that they avoid interest fees like the ones I have been charged. This is an unfair business practice. If I have set up automatic payments to pay my statement balance very month, I should not have to pay additional interest fees in subsequent months. Chase does not provide any additional options for consumers to pay off their statement balance automatically, thereby making it MORE difficult for a consumer to avoid interest charges, even though they are automatically paying their balance every month.
