After being a direct deposit client for over 10 years, my card was blocked and I was ask to produce documents to prove that it was me. ( usually I am asked and give 4 digit code, mothers maiden name, birth date and the last transactions made to the cards ) None of this was asked instead I was ask to present documents. So on several occasions I submitted my drivers license with me holding them, my passport with me holding it, my current Tax form letter from social security showing my current address, ss number and the amount of payments. I was denied on at least 4 occasions when I did not submit my ss card which they knew I did not have because I had traveled to XXXX and have been there using the card throughout the pandemic with no real problem like this one. After I was not able to produce a ss card ( which even the ss administration says is almost outdated ), right after receiving funds from COVID RELIEF The company ( NETSPEND ACE ) closed my account leaving me stranded in XXXX without any means of funding myself. ( I do not earn funds nor can I work in XXXX until I am approved by immigration ) My Debit Card and the ATM is my only source as I am a XXXX year old ss recipient.
