XX/XX/XXXX Bank of America stated they would provide my XXXX XXXX business with a secured credit card attached to a cd account that would report to XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX. They informed me that at the XXXX month my account would be eligible for a non secured credit card but I would need to call him. XX/XX/XXXX, I called in and was told that it would need to be approved first before I can get the credit card. I advised them that I was mislead and demanded my money back. They refused stating because it was attached to the cd account they couldnt do that until maturity which was now 12 months and not the 7 months as promised. I was furious but decided to wait the 12 months. I received a letter in the mail fro. Bank of America XX/XX/XXXX stating my maturity date for my CD was coming up and if I did not act they would automatically enroll me into another 12 month plan. I contacted Bank of America and explained that I wanted to close my cd since it was now at maturity. I was told that I couldnt close it until I paid the balance of. I paid the balance off and called back to close the account they then told me that I couldnt close my XXXX account because its a non profit and I am not listed on the account. This was not possible because when I opened the account I signed all the necessary documents. I signed the letter anyway. Now when I call to close the account they tell me they need all the officers to sign a statement when there are no other officers in the business. Ive demanded they close my account and give me my money back but back of America refuses to close my account or refund my money.
